The hotel Arigone is ranked in the *** hotel class and is located in the historical centre of Olomouc. The hotel itself is a valuable city sight and has its name after the Italian painter Franchesco Arigone, who bought and lived in the house in the 18th century.
The hotel has 53 rooms – 16 singles, 28 doubles, 1 suite and 8 junior suites. An extra bed can be added nearly to all of the rooms. Obvious room equipment in our rooms include own bathroom, toilet, hair dryer, TVs with a choice satellite channels, free internet connection. Hotel Pension Na Hradě is located directly in the city centre of Olomouc. The Hotel is surrounded by historic buildings and is about 150 m from the Olomouc town hall with the horologe, the Holy Trinity column and the chapel of St. John Sarkander.

From the main railway station in Olomouc you can get to the Art Center of Palacký University (i.e. Konvikt) by trams No. 2, 3, 4, and 6. Get off at the stop Náměstí Republiky (approx. a 5-minute ride), cross the street and turn right, going along the tram rails. After approximately 30 metres turn to the left onto Univerzitní street (slightly rising). Forty´s Pizza can be used as a landmark on the corner of Univerzitní street.
From Prague it is possible to get to Olomouc by a train, using one of the following three train service providers: Czech Railways, RegioJet, and Leoexpress.
Czech Railways
The fastest connection from Prague to Olomouc (2 hours and 7 minutes) is provided by Pendolino trains. They usually run at two-hour intervals. The ticket with a mandatory seat reservation is around 255 CZK. Other options provided by the Czech Railways include Eurocity trains, Express trains, all of which run very often. Ticket prices range from 129 CZK to 220 CZK. Please note that tickets cost less if bought over the internet and may include other benefits, for example, seat reservations are provided free of charge. RegioJet
Yellow RegioJet trains run on the route Prague-Olomouc every two hours. The journey takes 2 hours 15 minutes and the ticket price ranges between 99 CZK to 300 CZK according to the chosen travel class (low cost – without service, standard, relax, business) and according to the time of departure and the time of ticket purchase or ticket reservation. LeoExpress
Black LeoExpress trains run on the route Prague-Olomouc at an interval of one or two hours depending on the train utilization. The journey takes 2 hours and 11 minutes, the ticket can be purchased in three classes: economy, business, and premium. The ticket price ranges between 159 CZK to 800 CZK. If you travel from Vienna to Olomouc, we recommend using the services of the Czech Railways, namely a connection with one transfer, preferably in Břeclav. The ticket price is around 600 CZK and the journey takes two and a half hours. It is also possible to use the services of other travel service providers.
